First Generation: Start by making a male
and female pair in CAS. Make the male any aspiration you want, but
the female must be a family sim and wear a traditional dress. This
is your old-fashioned, traditional image of a perfect couple. There
will only be one of these couples in the entire challenge, so make
the most of them if you like this sort of set-up. Move them onto a
lot and build a house. Get the male a job, but the woman must
remain unemployed. She must get pregnant and keep on having
children until she has had at least one female. Raise the children
without boolprop.
Second Generation: The female must always
wear 'traditional' clothing (read: dress/long skirt, normal
sweaters and keep her hair up) but when she reaches teen, she can
be a family or popularity aspiration. She may get a job in the
Culinary, Slacker or Criminal career tracks, but she may not go to
university. She must get married to a male, take her husband's name
(if husband is an NPC/Townie, he will have to be asked to move in
and propose to her) and move into her husband's house (or, if the
husband is an NPC/Townie, they move out together and into a
different house.) The male must have a better job than the female
(use your own judgement as to what is better) and the female must
have children until she has at least one female. She must give up
her job when she's had a child. Once again, raise the children
without boolprop.
Third Generation: The female can begin to
wear plain trousers, but not jeans, decorated trousers, stomach
showing tops or short skirts. At teen, she can become a family,
popularity or wealth aspiration. She must have her hair up, but may
get a job in the Culinary, Slacker, Criminal, Politics, Science or
Athletic career tracks. She still mustn't go to university. She
must get married to a male, take her husband's name (if husband is
an NPC/Townie, he will have to be asked to move in and propose to
her) and move into her husband's house (or, if the husband is an
NPC/Townie, they move out together and into a different house.) The
husband must have a better job than her (use your judgement as to
what is better.) She must have children until she has at least one
female child, but she may keep her job when she is a mother and
hire a nanny instead. Yet again, raise the child without
boolprop.
Fourth Generation: The female can wear
jeans (at last!), but not decorated trousers, short skirts or
stomach showing tops. She is finally allowed to have her hair down,
but not elaborate. At teen, she can become a family, popularity,
wealth or romance sim. She may finally go to university and is
allowed to do the Drama, Art, Literature or History majors, but is
not allowed to drop out while there of her own free will; however,
she must drop out as soon as she is put on academic probation, if
that became a circumstance. She may get a job in the Culinary,
Slacker, Criminal, Politics, Science, Athletic, Military,
Paranormal, Show Business, Artist or Natural Scientist career
tracks. She must get married to a male, but does not have take her
husband's name anymore - he can take hers instead. They may
continue living with his or her parents until the parents die, but
cannot have children until they are in their own house, so they
must move out before she is 5 days away from elderhood. She must
have children until she has at least one female child.
Fifth Generation: She can wear any clothes she
wants and wear any kind of hairstyle. She can become any aspiration
and must (not can, must) go to university; she can study any major
there. She may drop out at will, have a second chance if put on
academic probation and she can get any job when/if she graduates.
She doesn't have to fall in love, but if you do want her to it can
be with a female if she wants to be homosexual.. She can join union
with a female, marry a male if she wishes ... but she doesn't have
to; they could just live together in a house. She doesn't have to
be married to have a child if she is heterosexual and may adopt
with her partner if she is homosexual. They can live together in
either of their parents' houses, even with children. She doesn't
have to even have children if she doesn't wish to (or you don't
wish her to.) Basically, she can do anything she wants - bear in
mind this privileage is very recent in real life.
The Rules
There
are various rules within each generation - read each generation for
those rules. But there is one general rule: no boolprop/other
cheats unless mentioned otherwise (move_objects is allowed for use
in building and bugged objects.)
The Points
Start
with 500 points for each generation and minus 10 points every time
a rule for that generation is broken. At the end, add up all the
points and see how close you come to 2,500. The closer you are, the
more accurately (according to history) you've done it.
